You can only do so much to preserve your gown in near perfect condition, and our specialized hand made acid free packaging provides a protected environment, but a variety of external factors and impurities within the fabric of the dress may prevent perfect preservation.

Insurance

All wedding dresses will be insured whilst with the courier to 50% of the original purchase value of the dress*

A wedding dress is bought for one specific occasion and will probably not be worn again. The garment has therfore fulfilled its primary purpose and its value will be considered to be not more than 50% of its replacement cost or original purchase cost (as evidenced by a valid receipt).

Stain Removal.

We cannot guarantee the removal of every mark and stain from all types of materials. Delicate materials can easily be damaged by over-treatment with inappropriate agents. With this in mind we will always strive to achieve the best possible results without risking damage to the delicate materials of your dress.

Silk Dresses

If your wedding dress is made of silk and is being cleaned for the first time, please be aware that even when using the most delicate dry cleaning techniques, there is a remote possibility of slight texture or size changes to the silk.

Beads etc

We are unable to accept responsibility for loss or damage to decorative fittings (beads, crystals, sequins, diamantes, pearls, buckles etc). This is a design issue rather than a cleaning one and we have to rely to a certain extent on the fact that the dressmaker/manufacturer has attached the decorative fittings adequately and used beads etc that are suitable for cleaning.

Pre Wedding Cleaning.

If you are having your wedding dress cleaned prior to your wedding day please be advised that it will be returned boxed rather than hanging. Hanging dresses for return is unfortunately not possible. All dresses will be carefully folded and boxed and we advise you to hang your dress as soon as it is received back - any folds should quickly fall out.
